About Us
Nelcon, Inc. is a Kalispell-based company specializing in heavy civil construction. The company has 25 years of experience in laying pipe in many challenging conditions and environments. In 2005, Nelcon completed a similar project that upgraded utilities and added lanes to Meridian Road through a heavily commercial district in Kalispell. The three managing partners have worked together for 13 years, and took over ownership of Nelcon, Inc. in 2003. Prior to that, Mike White, Nelcon's principal owner, served as vice president of Northern Line Layers, a subsidiary of a $2.6 billion Houston-based corporation. The current management team of Nelcon worked with Mike on numerous heavy civil and heavy highway projects, including dams, pipelines and state highways. One of their flagship projects was the 4.5 mile Shiloh Interchange in Billings. Nelcon also has an office in Missoula.

"We hope to use our years of experience to make a better project for Havre and for Montana. We're honored to be entrusted with the challenges that US2-Havre presents, but it takes a team to do a job of this magnitude. A lot of people are involved in this cooperative effort."
